By accessing or using BUG AI ("the Service"), operated by Arnav Singh ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
BUG AI is an AI-powered study tool that generates exam-style questions from user-uploaded study materials. The Service uses third-party AI models (Anthropic Claude) to generate content. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or medical correctness of any generated questions, answers, explanations, or flashcards.
You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service. One account per person; creating multiple accounts to abuse free trials or referral credits is prohibited and will result in account termination.
Credits are purchased through Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. Credit prices may change at any time; existing purchased credits are not affected by price changes. Free trial credits (500 credits) are provided once per account and cannot be transferred. Credits do not expire. We reserve the right to adjust credit balances in cases of system errors or abuse.
Users may refer others using their unique referral code. Both the referrer and the new user receive 500 bonus credits when the new user makes their first credit purchase using the referral code. Referral credits are limited to one redemption per new account. Self-referrals, fake accounts, or any form of referral abuse will result in credit removal and possible account termination.
You retain ownership of materials you upload. By uploading, you represent that you have the right to use the material for personal study purposes. We process uploaded text to generate questions and do not permanently store the raw uploaded files beyond the active session. You must not upload content that infringes on third-party copyrights, contains malware, or violates any law. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.
Questions, explanations, flashcards, and other AI-generated content are provided "as is" for educational purposes only. AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. Do NOT rely on generated content as medical advice or as a sole study resource. Generated content should supplement, not replace, professional educational materials.
When using the cost-splitting feature, all participants agree to the cost before generation begins. Once a shared session is created, the question count and cost are locked and cannot be changed. If any participant declines, the entire session is cancelled. We are not responsible for disputes between users regarding shared sessions.
You may not: (a) reverse-engineer, scrape, or programmatically access the Service; (b) resell or redistribute generated content commercially; (c) use the Service to generate content for standardized test fraud; (d) upload copyrighted question banks (e.g., UWorld, Amboss, Kaplan questions); (e) circumvent usage limits or security measures; (f) use automated tools to interact with the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. We are not liable for any exam outcomes, academic decisions, or clinical decisions made based on generated content.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account by contacting us. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited except where required by law.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ohio.
For questions about these terms, contact us through the Contact page on our website.
